[Well, fortunately for Mikami's nerves, Top Dollar doesn't seem to be doing anything too important right now, nor is he doing anything inherently threatening. He doesn't have any blades out, nor does he have his guns on him; the motive isn't hitting him well, but thankfully that's just manifesting in a general desire to not be around everyone and their grandmother. The ballroom is nice; if nothing else, Kevin is usually in and out of here, so if he really wants company he can seek the priest out and everything will work out fine.
